KINGHAM • DALTON • WILSON provided Sintex Minerals & Services, Inc. with development and design/build services for an 85,000 sf tilt-wall office and warehouse facility located at Southwest Freeway and Klauke Road in Rosenberg, Texas. The facility includes a fully automated drive-on truck scale, corporate offices and a quality control laboratory.

This structure has (18) eighteen overhead doors with (9) nine doors serving a dock-high area and nine serving a grade level area for the distribution center and contains an on-site truck scale for exiting traffic.

One side of the warehouse is constructed with dock-high bays to receive the shipping containers from the Port of Houston. Customer loadouts occur on the other side of the warehouse. By separating these functions, Sintex can receive product from the Port of Houston and load product for customer shipments at the same time, adding to the efficiency of the operation. The facility is operational 24/7 to satisfy the dynamics of the stimulation industry.

Sintex is a high-tech enterprise specializing in powder metal magnets/magnet systems and wear-resistant coatings.
