KDW is constructing a LEED certified warehouse facility for Accredo Packaging, Inc. The facility will be awarded Silver LEED status. The 170,176 sf building will be Phase II and will connect to the existing facility. When Phase II is completed, the entire facility will be over 339,000 sf.
The exterior surfaces are tilt wall with stucco, glazed CMU block, glazing and metal clad insulated wall panels to blend with the original structure.
"The challenge for this project is to construct this building while Accredo continues to manufacture plastics and conduct business 24/6. We will have to construct temporary loading docks for incoming and outgoing shipments and provide access on the construction site for this to occur during construction. Also, it is always exciting to work on LEED projects and, when completed, this project will have a LEED Silver status." Jeff Mensik
