KDW is providing design/build services for the new MSI campus located near Highway 249 and FM 1960 in Houston, Texas. The consolidation of multiple properties created the 7.12 acre site. The structure consists of a 63,000 sf warehouse for high-pile storage, a 75,000 sf production area, 10,000 sf of two-story office space, a 2,000 sf mezzanine. High-piled storage required an ESFR fire sprinkler system which is supported by a fire pump and water storage tank. The detention and mitigation pond is designed to contain approximately 7 acre feet with a dual pump lift station for storm water discharge and large retaining wall. |
