KDW provided design/build services for the new 350,751 sf National Oilwell Varco World Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility in Conroe, Texas. The office serves as National Oilwell Varco's centralized logistical base for worldwide operations. The facility includes a full-service cafeteria, employee fitness center, and an on-site jogging trail. The research facility includes a full-scale drilling rig (PDL). The Advanced Materials Laboratory houses highly developed equipment such as scanning electron microscopes (SEM). The facility houses approximately 500 employees. |
