KDW built a 66,750 sf master parts warehouse for Tadano America Corporation. The maintenance shop is designed with a 45 ft. clearance eave for the rubber tire cranes that Tadano produces. Two overhead cranes span the 110 ft.-wide shop. A test pad has been designed to withstand a 195,000 lb. down force and a 110,200 lb. pull force. A specially designed observation room with a glass curtain wall allows customers to view crane demonstrations from auditorium seating.
Due to anticipated rapid growth, both the office and the shop have been designed for future expansion. |
